How to Sky Fish for UFO’s using the Static Rapid Fire Method

I developed this process so that I am able to capture objects on film I can’t see while keeping a history and sequence of the pictures to evaluate, compare and eliminate other more earthly objects (airplanes, birds and bugs).

This process can be used for both day and night time picture taking, but is specific to the day time.

Step One: Choosing a Location.

Choosing a location is a personal thing, I use the location outside my house for convenience purposes. It is easier for me download pictures to my laptop and take more photos in a timely fashion.
It does’t seem to matter where I take pictures, these objects show up.

Step Two: Picking a time of day and factoring in the weather

Because I live in the land of rain, I watch the weather reports for what I consider good picture taking days = any day with sunny or partly cloudy conditions. I have pictured just as many objects in cloudy conditions however.
The best pictures I have taken were in the middle of the day. The objects appear to glint or shine off the sun in the photos.

Step Three: Setting up.

I setup my tripod right outside my front door facing Lake Washington. I live on the third floor of my condo complex which gives me some height. Note: Using a tripod reduces blurring and shaking.

Step Four: Taking Pictures

I stand in one spot and take at least 100 photos one after another. I include as much of the sky as I can. Typically I shoot over the treeline or I take a panoramic sky shot.
With my Canon DSLR I am able to set my camera to take up to 6 photos per second, and in less than 6 minutes I can take up to 600 photos.

Step Five: Downloading and reviewing photos

I download the pictures directly to my laptop and save the pictures to a separate hard drive. Photos are saved in folders by date.
I review my photos and enlarge sections through my photo manager to close up on objects. I save and rename a new copy of photos with objects and keep the originals.

What is Sky Fishing? …..

Sky Fishing is documenting Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO’s) using a camera (digital or regular), visible and invisible to the naked eye.

I have taken hundreds of UFO photos using my sky fishing method and you can to, all you need is a camera.

The purpose of this blog is to share my methodology and pictures and I hope that I will inspire as many people as I can to go out and take pictures.

Background:

A year ago in May of 2007 I took 5 daylight photos of Mt. Adams at James Gilliland’s ECETI Ranch http://www.eceti.org/Eceti.html in Trout Lake, Wa. After downloading these photos to my laptop I noticed that one of these photos contained what looks like a craft, or metallic silver sphere type flying object. I could not see the object when I took the photos.

I decided to begin researching daylight craft UFO type photos in the area, and discovered that most if not all were unseen by the photographer until AFTER downloading or developing. It occurred to me that if I captured one object that I could go out and take 100 photos at a time setting up in the same area, and would be able to capture photos of these objects. It worked.

I also looked into the quality of my digital camera, which was a 2.0 megapixel, 3-year old digital camera. I knew very little about cameras. My sister, a teacher and guru of digital camera photography http://digitaltiff.com/ explained to me the importance of megapixel in digital photographs to allow better detail when zooming in on these objects to rule out birds and bugs and other objects. I purchased a 7.1 megapixel digital camera and began taking hundreds of pictures of Mt. Adams standing in one spot shooting the mountain. I began gathering a large collection of UFO pictures.

I tried taking pictures outside my house with the same results. More UFO pictures.

For me, in terms of definition, I use the term UFO as a catch all phrase for objects that I cannot explain. Although I cannot prove that UFO’s exist, I can say for sure that objects are showing up in my photos that suggest a life form with technology far advanced from ours.

In May 2008 I purchased my first 10 megapixel DSLR Canon 40D and my work to document UFO’s using Sky Fishing continues.
